Nina's only steps ashore between Ko Samui and Pulau Tioman were on this stairway on Perhentian Kecil. She didn't set foot on Tioman until we had been there more than a week so this was her only shore visit for more than a month. The stairs led up to a large array of solar panels and two big wind turbines. The wind turbines were not operating but were expected to replace diesel-generated electricity for the resorts.
